Steven Wong M.D.
Dr. Steven Wong is a native to New York City, having grown up in Long Island City, Queens. He graduated from William Cullen Bryant High School in 1980. Dr. Wong went on to graduate within the top of his class at the Albany Medical College in Albany, New York.
He first completed three years in the specialty of Internal Medicine at New York University --- Beekman Downtown Hospital and at St. Vincent's Hospital Medical Center and is now board certified in Hospital Medicine. He then went on to study two additional years as Chief Resident of ophthalmology/oculoplastic surgery at the State University of New York --- Health Science Center in Brooklyn (Downstate Medical Center). He also trained for a fellowship in acupuncture at the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. Dr. Wong eventually combined all of his talents and interests together incorporating art, beauty, and science and practicing a discipline called Aesthetic and Integrative Medicine.
Dr. Wong has been in private practice in New York City since 1999. He has been practicing Integrative Internal Medicine, Ophthalmology, Acupuncture, Weight Wanagement, as well as Aesthetic and Integrative Medicine to promote wellness from a "total body" and "mind-spirit" perspective to achieve the goal of Optimal Health.
His extracurricular experiences range from being a physician on-duty as a volunteer for the New York City Marathon, social responsibility of assisting the homeless and hungry at soup kitchens, and had twice served as a primary responder in the World Trade Center terrorist attacks.
Dr. Wong lives in Rockland County, New York with his wife, Sonya. When he is not performing cosmetic aesthetic surgery, he enjoys sailing, exercising, travelling, and spending time with his family and friends.
